This is a short simulation of the Curved Folding process using Daniel Piker‘s Kangaroo Plug-in for Grasshopper we did during the fourth Shape To Fabrication workshop in November 2011. You can see that the developed element’s parameters can be changed before simulating the folding process. Each folding step is later being used to simulate the robot’s movement for the following production process (slide show below, pictures 57 and 58).
